VinumLex by João Amaral
João Amaral is a lawyer dedicated to vine and wine law, with practice based in Peso da Régua, in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region.
VinumLex is his editorial platform: a space for study, systematisation and dissemination of the legal framework governing the wine sector in Portugal, Europe and internationally.
The project combines research, regulatory analysis, publications, conferences and responses to practical issues, with special attention to labelling, designations of origin, geographical indications, CAP, funding, wine tourism and institutional regulation.
In parallel with wine-law specialisation, the author’s professional page also presents his legal practice in other fields, especially civil and commercial law.
